"Whatever happens, wherever you go, you'll always still be living in Sisterland." I enjoyed Sisterland (received via Netgalley) - Sittenfeld does a very nice job of depicting every day domesticity, contrasting it with something as unworldly (or not) as ESP. Often I found it comforting to read about Kate's day to day activities, even though they were quite normal. At times, I found both sisters to be incredibly annoying, but they were real. I liked the everyday scenes of the sisters when they were growing up, and then Kate's time as a single and then as a stay-at-home Mom. A few twists and turns and things I didn't see coming made for an extremely satisfying read.
